Sustainable urbanism

The sustainable urbanism has the main objective of creating urban spaces which are respectful with the environment. It also provides the inhabitants with high-quality design, energy and water efficiency infrastructure and functionality; hence it is possible to improve their well-being in general.

The implementation and design of the sustainable urbanism has to be capable of consuming little quantity of raw materials and energy and generating low amounts of waste and emissions. Economically speaking, it has to be feasible, in the social field has to provide an adequate response to the social needs and furthermore has to take into account the participation and necessity of the citizens as inputs for the project design.
