Description:
The commission consists on carrying out an energy refurbishment of an old warehouse which will be transformed into a single-family house.
The premises of the projects are:
- Set up a new functional distribution, with the purpose of getting a clear relationship between the inner spaces.
- Improve the exterior image of the building, augmenting the glazed surface and re-making the finishing of the exterior walls, which nowadays are in inadequate condition.
- Minimize the energy demand in the building by means of establishing high levels of thermal isolation and taking advantage of natural resources such as the solar radiation.
- Profit and benefit from the renewable energy sources of the site with the purpose of utilizing them in the heating and hot water system, and at the same time reducing the dependence of external sources.
